Is someone at home in need of a nurse or specialized care?
If your loved one is recovering from a recent illness or surgery at home they may need specialized care from a nurse. Or your loved one may have a new medical condition that he or she needs to learn to monitor or manage at home. Our nurses work with your doctor to provide the care you need. This may include changing a dressing on a surgical wound, administering injections or teaching your parent how to monitor their blood sugar or recognize when to contact their doctor. We coordinate the care they need, schedule their visits and help order supplies and equipment.
When our nurse is in your loved one’s home she is able to assess for other services that may enhance their recovery. This may include rehabilitation services or personal care services.
