Loss of any kind is never easy, but it may help knowing where you can turn during this difficult time.
Bereavement counselors are part of the Hospice Care team and are available to help your family cope with the loss of a loved one. The bereavement staff offer support to surviving families and loved ones for thirteen months following their loss. Their services include individual or family counseling, a variety of support groups, and mailings of supportive literature, information, and referrals. A bilingual Bereavement Counselor is available to provide support in Spanish.
Survivors are welcome to attend our annual event: Angels Among Us, a special memorial event during the holiday season in December.
Counseling, support groups, information, and referrals are available to anyone in the community who is facing or grieving a loss. All services are offered to the community free of charge.
Please call the Bereavement Program at 805.308.9602 to speak with a counselor or for more information on our support services.
