Bereavement Support and Counseling

Bereavement support is part of the Hospice Care program. Bereavement counselors are available to help your family cope with the loss of a loved one. The bereavement staff offer support to surviving families and loved ones for thirteen months following their loss. Their services include one-to-one counseling, support groups, mailings of supportive literature and an annual Remembrance Service.
Individual counseling and support groups are available to anyone in the community who is facing or grieving a loss. All support groups are offered to the community free of charge.

Ease the loss of your loved one by preserving special memories and images for family and friends. A personal webpage can bring family members and friends together to share their loss and celebrate the life of the departed. This service, provided by our partner Life Event Networks, is free-of-charge and provides instant webpages for those with modest web browsing skills. You can choose to have the webpage be completely private for only those invited or offer public access. Learn more…
